Richardson boats were built by the Richardson Boat Company based in North Tonawanda, New York, which primarily operated from the late 1920’s through the early 1960’s, though the company’s origins trace back even earlier to the 1900’s. They were especially well-known for their beautifully crafted wooden cruisers, particularly during the 1930’s to 1950s. The peak years were especially strong in the 1930’s and 1940’s Boat production declined in the 1960s, and the company eventually ceased operations in the late 1960s to early 1970 as boat manufacturing materials moved towards modern materials.
